Fashion Do's & Don'ts

The date for the 2027 Fashion Do's and Don'ts Show is Wednesday February 3, 2027. Information about how to be try out for the show and for how to attend will be posted in late 2026.

Snowdown Fashion Do's & Don'ts will be on Wednesday January 28, 2026 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center. Doors open at 11 am, lunch begins at 11:30 am, announcement and prizes at noon, and the show starts at 12:30 pm. Enjoy a sit down luncheon and a show! 2026 will be the 27th annual "Fashion" Show. Great music, hilarious models, public costume contests and a few hours of revelry. This event is a perennial Snowdown favorite.

HOW TO BE IN THE FASHION SHOW

NEW - auditions are required to be in the Fashion Show this year! This is a two-step process.

Step #1 - complete a one-page application HERE and email to
annejd5949@gmail.com by Friday October 31, 2025.

Step #2 - attend an interview. Interviews will be scheduled for Tuesday November 11 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm or Thursday November 13 from 5 to 7 pm.

If you are selected for the show, there will be a mandatory rehearsal on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

TICKETS

The public ticket sale date is planned for Saturday January 10, 2026, and will start at 6 am, at El Rancho Tavern. These tickets always sell out, so if you want tickets you will need to be at the location well before 6 am to claim your space in line! Tickets costs are: $20 for standing (lunch NOT included), $25 for seated (lunch included) and $30 for seating on the runway (lunch included). The maximum number of tickets one person can buy is four. Checks or cash accepted for payment, we do NOT accept credit cards.
