The Snowdown Chili Cook-Off and Bloody Mary Contest is one of Snowdown's biggest events and one of its best fundraisers!
Whether you want to compete, sample some amazing creations, or simply enjoy the fun, this is an event you won't want to miss.

Must be 21 or older to receive alcoholic samples.
Tasting tickets will be available at the door. Advance ticket sales will take place Friday, February 5, before the Snowdown Light Parade, from 3:30–4:30 PM, at Stoked Sports Bar 640 Main Ave.

- 7:00 AM: Setup and cooking begins.
- 10:30 AM: Vegetarian Chili and Salsa judging entries due.
- 11:00 AM: Green Chili judging entry due.
- 11:30 AM: Traditional Red Chili judging entry due.
- 11:45 AM: Homestyle Red Chili judging entry due.
- Noon–2:00 PM: Public tasting.
- 2:00 PM: Awards ceremony.

Local businesses, groups, clubs, organizations and individuals are welcome. All contestants must be at least 21 years old.

PRIZES
- Judges' Choice: 1st $250, 2nd $100, 3rd $50.

IMPORTANT TIMES
- 9:00 AM: Setup and preparation begins.
- 11:00 AM: Bloody Mary judging entry due.
- Noon–2:00 PM: Public tasting.

Tito's Vodka will be provided for each contestant. Contestants must prepare at least 3 gallons of Bloody Mary mix, with 5 gallons preferred.
Contestants must follow all age-verification and sample-serving requirements in the official rules.

Who can enter the contests?
Local businesses, groups, clubs, organizations and individuals are welcome. Bloody Mary contestants must be at least 21 years old.
Do we have to be a business to enter?
No! Individuals and groups are welcome to participate.
Is vodka provided for the Bloody Mary Contest?
Yes! Tito's Vodka will be provided to each Bloody Mary contestant. Contact Greg Yucha about arrangements for infusing vodka in advance.
How much chili or Bloody Mary mix do we need?
Chili contestants must prepare at least 3 gallons, with 5 gallons encouraged. Bloody Mary contestants must also prepare at least 3 gallons, with 5 gallons preferred.
When does the public tasting begin?
Public tasting runs from noon until 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2027.
When are the winners announced?
Awards begin at approximately 2:00 PM.
