Channel your inner 1800s vaudeville star, Elsa Von Blumen (a.k.a. “The Colorado Nightingale”), to take the stage and belt your favorite theatre songs alongside accompaniment. The only catch? The lyrics will be behind you! Sing the correct words before the time runs out and move on to the next round. We’ll judge only on lyrical knowledge, not talent, for your chance at fabulous prizes! Afterwards, sing your favorite theatre songs in front of a supportive crowd. All ages welcome!

5:30 PM CONSTITUTIONAL CONFUSION SCRABBLE CONTEST

Are you confused? I’m confused! We’re all confused. But to heck with it! Celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday with a Scrabble competition where word enthusiasts come together to test their vocabulary, spelling skills, and tactical thinking. Players compete in a series of timed rounds, with 6 tables of 5 players each. One winner declared per table. All ages welcome!

5:30 PM PEPPER PONG: A SPICY PADDLE EVENT
Lola’s Place - 725 E 2nd Ave
Love pickleball, tennis, or ping pong? Then turn up the heat and bring the wow! Pepper Pong is SNOWDOWN’s newest spicy showdown at Lola’s Place, a paddle sport that’s part ping pong, part pickleball, and all pepper-powered fun. Play with three fiery levels: Jalapeño, Habanero, and Ghost Pepper. Bring a partner (or we’ll find one for you) and join the heat. Be there or be bland!

6 PM COLORADO SPLIT FLIPPER

A pinball smorgasboard of mini events held for fun and prizes. Games include split flippers (1 team shares right and left flippers), stall ball (a conga line of unlimited players lines up to "stall" the ball and then quickly get back in line), and the highest score. Come out and enjoy some casual but fun pinball events. All ages welcome!

Swing into Colorado’s 150th birthday bash with your wild side on full display! Strap on your monkey tail and hunt for “golden” bananas hidden throughout the jungle.
