12:30 PM - 3:30 PM MAH JONGG “NOT-A-TOURNAMENT” TOURNAMENT
Dalton Ranch Clubhouse Restaurant - 589 County Rd 252
Colorado might’ve already been on the map before American Mah Jongg hit the scene in the early 1900s, but recently, the popularity has soared! We’ll follow the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, which use the NMJL card. Bring your 2025 NMJL card, but leave your quarters at home. We will track points and award cash prizes to the winners. Costumes encouraged. Please sign up by 5 PM on Tues, Jan 27. All ages welcome, but you must already know how to play American Mah Jongg.

From John Denver to today’s hits, test your music knowledge in this fast-paced guessing game! Contestants will be given clips of songs to listen to, then asked to identify both the song and the artist. Each correct answer earns one point. Highest point total wins! 4 PM BICYCLE BUNNY HOP & FOOT DOWN CONTEST (NEW DATE - MOVED FROM THURSDAY JANUARY 29)

Lola’s Place - 725 E 2nd Ave

Hosted by Pedal Durango, Lola’s Place, and The Leland House Suites. Bunny Hoppers compete by raising the bar 1 inch every round. All bikes are welcome. Foot down involves a large group of cyclists balancing on two wheels within a confined area. As faulty riders exit, the confined area decreases. Food and drink specials offered to competitors and spectators. Competitors must wear a helmet; no Miner’s helmets please! More details at Pedal Durango’s website. Sign-ups begin at 3 PM. Ages 8+.

Hosted by McDonald’s and Best Western Rio Grande Inn. This one is for Durango’s 7–10-year-olds, where winning royalty will ride through town in Friday’s Light Parade. All ages are welcome to attend and cheer for their school’s nominees.
