Rack 'em up, partner! Channel your inner Wild West saloon shark in this double-elimination tournament featuring up to 21 players. Whether you're a seasoned gunslinger with a cue or just moseying into the game, this is your chance to show off your precision, strategy, and skill. Sign up 30 minutes before the event. 11:30 AM EUCHRE TOURNAMENT (NOTE NEW TIME)

A card game that’s all about calling the shots, sometimes bluffing, and occasionally pretending you understand what’s happening (just like first-time SNOWDOWNers!) Teams will be drawn in a random double-elimination tournament. Registration begins at 10 AM. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Best Costume. Must be 21+.

It’s a quiet duel at High Noon! Saddle up for a high-stakes showdown where sharp minds meet Rocky Mountain chill. Single-elimination format with 3 competitive categories: 13 and under, 14+ Beginners, and 14+ Advanced. A limited number of chessboards are provided, but if you have a favorite board and/or clock, bring it! You must pre-register for this event by contacting the event coordinator. All ages welcome!

We’re calling all dynamic duos, from sprightly youngsters to the forever-young-at-heart. Here’s the game plan: grab your partner, leapfrog your way through the course, and sip on a crisp, icy apple juice slushie. It’s a wild, frontier-style ride that tests your teamwork, balance, and ability to spread good vibes. The clock’s ticking, and the quickest pair will be crowned the legendary Lords of the Leap. Purgatory Resort The Beach - 1 Skier Pl
Kick-Off! Saddle up your skis and giddy-up for a rootin’-tootin’ kickoff to Uniquely Colorado: Then and Wow! Costumes are encouraged. SNOWDOWN swag and random prizes for those who participate in the parade. Meet at the Beach at 12:15 PM; parade starts at the top of Lift 1 at 1 PM. The 2027 theme will then be announced at Purgy’s patio, immediately following the parade. All ages and abilities!

It's time for a matchup that mashes up old-school frontier rowdiness with modern Colorado craft-beer flair. Each team of 3 will compete in a 10-minute game. Score the most goals, and you move on to the next game. The real kicker? Each player's gotta wear one of our Ska Can suits during the game! The winning team receives all the glory and prizes. Channel your inner Alfred Packer and Unsinkable Molly Brown for a 1920s prohibition-themed epic party with best-dressed awards: Best Gangster, Best Flapper, and Best Bonnie and Clyde Couple! Find the secret entrance using hints released throughout the week leading up to the party. Heavy appetizers and a grazing table are included in the price and limited to 30 guests. Please RSVP online. Colorado and weed go together like skis and snow. Now it's your turn to show off those rolling skills! The Joint Rolling contest (using a non-regulated hemp-based product) will consist of 3 categories: Biggest joint rolled, Fastest joint rolling, and Most stylish joint. Points awarded in each category to crown the SNOWDOWN Joint Rolling Champion. A $50 bar tab, $25 bar tab, and a free drink for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Must be 21+.
