11 AM COLORADO COSTUME DANCE PARTY

Lace up your dancing boots and get ready to party, it’s a hootenanny! Join us at the library for a Colorado Costume Dance Party-a fun, high-energy celebration just for little ones. Come dressed as your favorite Colorado critter, mountain explorer, skier, or hometown hero, and dance the day away to kid-friendly tunes! Ages 9 and under.

12 PM COLORADO QUICKDRAW: SKETCH CONTEST
Blue Rain Gallery - 934 Main
A fast, fun, and uniquely Colorado art challenge! Artists will capture the beauty and spirit of the Centennial State in just 10 minutes, from rugged mountains and winding rivers to whimsical landscapes. All supplies provided! This sketches-only event keeps the focus on speed, creativity, and fun. Each sketch will be displayed in the gallery for a week, and visitors will vote for their favorite. Winners announced Sat, Jan 31. The grand prize is a bag of swag from the Blue Rain Print Shop, full of artsy treasures. All ages welcome!

Colorado may be loaded with open spaces, but not during SNOWDOWN outhouse stuffing! The team that pushes and squeezes the most people into the outhouse within 2 minutes, then keeps the door closed for 10 seconds, wins! Participants can sign up as a team or individually to create the largest stuffable team. The only rule is that waivers must be signed. Must be 21+.

2 PM PAPER AIRPLANE TOSS 
Office Depot - 331 S Camino Del Rio Ste D 
Can you fly a paper airplane higher than Pikes Peak? Longer than I-70? Join us for this high-flying competition where we’ll provide the 24 lb paper; you create and fold your aircraft. No clips, tape, weights, glue, or decorations allowed, just pure folding skills! You'll get three chances to fly the best distance on our course. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd for each division, and Best Costume. Sign up 30 minutes prior to the event. Divisions are: Elementary (Grades 1–6), Jr High (Grades 7–9), Sr High (Grades 10–12).

Bring your Colorado fashion to life with our own Project Runway! Using clothing on our racks, put together outfits based on several themes, and model them down the runway. Show your styling skills or speculate to vote on your favorite outlaws - (oops!) we mean, outfits. Text us to reserve your spot! Youth, teen, and adult brackets. No bending over backwards required. Discover your SNOWDOWN flow with vinyasa yoga. A high atmospheric blend of yoga brought to life with the electrifying beats of a live DJ. This event hosts more back-and-forth than the train prepping for tomorrow’s rides! Who will be crowned the Ping Pong 2026 SNOWDOWN Champion? If you have the (ping pong) balls to try, it might be you! A $50 bar tab, $25 bar tab, and a free drink for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Must be 21+.

5 PM - 10 PM GLOW CLIMBING NIGHT

A blacklight climbing event with live DJs, glow-in-the-dark climbing, and decor for the most adventurous spirits. Enjoy various climbing games and events taking place, plus costume contests in 3 categories: Best SNOWDOWN theme, Climbing theme, and Homemade. All ages are welcome to attend; however, the minimum age to climb is 4, and an adult must accompany anyone under age 14.

6 PM DRC TREADMILL CHALLENGE
11th Street Station - 1101 Main
Ready, Set, Hike! Can you achieve the most vertical feet? This event will put your calves to the test! Each runner will have one chance to achieve the most vert. in 5 minutes during the head-to-head challenge. No holding onto handrails at any point; however, you may adjust your speed and elevation. We’ll do our best to place you against your chosen defender, should you have one. Prizes for the top 3 vertical gains. All ages welcome!

Dance like no one’s watching and become the 2026 SNOWDOWN Blindfold Dance Champion! Each round allows 4 fearless dancers to take the stage. Trust your instincts to make the next dance move because contestants are blindfolded. No fancy judges here; the audience decides who advances. Must be 18+.
