Snowdown wants you to make responsible decisions when getting around during Snowdown.

All public transit is FREE starting Wednesday January 31 through Saturday February 4. This includes all City of Durango bus routes and the Main Ave. Trolley. Free to ride all day from first bus to last bus!!! Thank you City of Durango and the Ride Responsible Program!

Special shuttle for Snowdown Light Parade. On Friday February 2, a special shuttle is offered to make it easier to get to Downtown for the Snowdown Light Parade. This special shuttle will run from the La Plata County Fairgrounds to the Transit Center. First shuttle leaves the Fairgrounds at 4:30 pm. Parade starts at 6 pm. Last shuttle leaves the Transit Center at 9 pm. The shuttle should be at the Fairgrounds every 20 to 30 minutes. Brought to you by the City of Durango, Durango Business Improvement District, and Snowdown.

#1 - Ride the Buzz Bus for FREE Thursday February 1, Friday February 2 and Saturday February 3 from 10 pm to 3 pm. Call for a ride – 970-508-0445. The Buzz Bus is brought to you by The Hive! If you drive, remember that the Downtown parking meters are FREE on weekdays after 6 pm, and FREE all day on weekends. However, do not leave your car at a metered parking space from 2 to 5 am. If you do, you might get a ticket.

You can also park for FREE in any City parking lot after 5 pm weekdays and all day on weekends. The City lots are located on E. 2nd Ave. and at the Transit Center. You can leave your car overnight in these lots, but if it is a weekday you need to remove your car by 7 am the next morning.

There will be a large street closure for the Snowdown Light Parade. Look for signs on parking meters on Friday February 2 as you will be towed if you park in a closed space.
